Scottish Winter Fair 2011Andrew Bishop’s first visit to the Scottish Winter Fair was a great success as he was awarded the Overall Supreme Championship with a greatly admired pair of Beltex lambs weighing 103kg. The lambs were by the highly acclaimed homebred sire Lugsmill Dylan. Andrew Bishop was delighted to win this prestigious Scottish event, where the majority of the lambs throughout the crossbred classes contained Beltex breeding. Judge Joanne Hall, Inglewood Edge, Dalston, Cumbria said the winning pair: "were a very good even pair and they were full of meat, there was an excellent show of quality Beltex lambs at the event” Taking Reserve sheep Champion at the show were a pair of Beltex lambs that had won the Beltex light class and came from Andrew Morton, Lochend Farm, Denny, Stirlingshire. These two weighed 85kg and were by Beachy Norman; Andrew Morton won the championship at last year's Scottish Winter Fair. Overall Champion Pair of Lambs – Andrew
