The First Wales & Border Beltex In-Lamb ewe Show & sale
Thursday 13th December 2007

It was Lucky Thursday 13th December at Brecon Livestock Market. The Mulled wine and mince pies warmed the buyers up in preparation for the sale. Sheep looked impressive and of a high standard. There was considerable amount of interest, the sale attracted buyers from all over the Country.

Supreme Champion from Steve Gibbons which was sold for 1500 gns

The high quality of animals sold was reflected by the high prices. Llwynbrain Harebell from S & S Gibbons, was overall Champion and sold for £1575. The Reserve Champion was a very smart yearling ewe from Yvonne Edwards of Penbryn Parc and sold for £525.

There were also several ewe lambs forwarded with the top price being £304 for a ewe lamb from Yvonne Edwards of Penbryn Parc and averaged an impressive £223.
