Champion: J. Barclay, I. McMillan, and J. McIllwraith (Shearling Tup)
This was the Beltex shearling tup, Clary Kaiser Chief, of which John owns a third. Sired by a tup that John bred, Beachy Jack the Lad, out of a Southolm Dynamo ewe, he purchased a share in Kaiser Chief after seeing him shown last summer. John MacIlwraith, Balig also bought a share, with his breeder, Jock McMillan, Carse of Clary, retaining the final third. He is also entered for the Highland show.

Reserve Champion: John Y Barclay & Co (Single Ewe)
